why i do this.

hey. i'm hallie.
i take photos of high school seniors—usually somewhere in seattle, usually with a little wind in the hair and something honest in the air.

this isn't about glamour shots or stiff poses or pretending to be someone you’re not.
it’s about capturing you as you are right now. in this in-between moment—on the edge of everything.

you might not know what’s next (none of us really do), but i hope these photos can be a little anchor. something to look back on and remember how much you were already becoming.

i shoot in places that feel good—your backyard, a park you grew up near, your favorite coffee shop, or just somewhere with great light and space to breathe.
you can bring a few outfits. i’ll bring my camera and curiosity. i’ll help guide you, but mostly i’ll hang back and let you be.
